Dr Tourky MRCS Part B Course Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy


1. Account Usage and Subscription Integrity

Your course subscription is strictly non-transferable. Only the registered individual (account holder) is authorised to access course content and participate in related activities.
You are not permitted to share, sell, lend, or give your account access to any third party under any circumstances.
Any form of account misuse, including but not limited to sharing login credentials or accessing the course on behalf of another person, may result in immediate and permanent termination of your subscription without refund.


2. Conduct in Group Discussions and Community Channels
As a subscriber, you may be granted access to Telegram groups or other discussion forums organised by the course.
You are required to use your real full name or your course subscription name when joining such groups. You must conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times and use respectful and appropriate language in all discussions.
You must refrain from using any offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, or aggressive language or behaviour.
Failure to adhere to these standards may result in temporary or permanent removal from group discussions and/or further disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of your course access.


3. Confidentiality and Privacy of Group Content
The content shared in any course-related group, including discussions, comments, questions, and feedback, is considered confidential.
You are strictly prohibited from taking screenshots, recordings, or capturing any content from the group. You are strictly prohibited from sharing, forwarding, or disclosing any part of the group content to any third party outside the group.
Any breach of this confidentiality may result in immediate account termination and may lead to legal action.


4. Course Materials and Copyright
All course content, including hardcopy notes, digital files, slides, and recordings, is the intellectual property of Dr Tourky’s MRCS Part B Course and is protected under copyright laws.
Copying, reproducing, scanning, distributing, or otherwise duplicating any part of the hardcopy or digital material is strictly prohibited.
Breaches of copyright protection may lead to termination of course access and legal consequences, including action under applicable copyright infringement laws.


5. Enforcement and Disciplinary Measures
Violation of any of the above terms may lead to one or more of the following actions: a warning notice, removal from group discussions, suspension or termination of course access, or legal reporting/escalation to relevant authorities in cases of serious breaches, including copyright infringement.


6. Privacy, Data Access, Collection, and Use

We are committed to handling user information transparently and responsibly.
We may access, collect, use, and process user data required for course delivery, account administration, learner support, security, and compliance purposes.
The categories of data we may access or collect include account and identity data such as your name, email address, billing details, purchase records, login activity, device/app usage information, and communications you send to us.
We may also access or collect content you voluntarily submit through the app, website, forms, support requests, course assignments, surveys, or discussion groups.
If you voluntarily submit information relating to your health, medical condition, clinical practice, patient scenarios, or other health-related material, that information may constitute Health Data. Where such Health Data is submitted by you, it may be accessed, stored, and used only for legitimate purposes connected with course delivery, learner support, moderation, safeguarding, troubleshooting, compliance, and improving the educational service.
You should not upload patient-identifiable information or confidential third-party medical information to the app, course platform, support channels, or community groups.
We do not collect Health Data unless you choose to provide it. If Health Data is provided, it will be handled only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements.


7. Data Retention

We retain user data only for 12 months, including course administration, learner support, legal,accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute- resolution, and regulatory obligations.                                  

Account, enrolment, payment, and support records may be retained for the period of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterwards where required for tax, accounting, audit, legal, contractual, or operational purposes.
Community posts, messages, submitted forms, support emails, and similar content may be retained for as long as necessary to operate the course, investigate misuse, respond to disputes, maintain continuity of learner support, or comply with legal obligations.
If you have submitted Health Data or other sensitive information, we will retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant educational, support, security, moderation, or legal purpose, after which it will be deleted, anonymised, or securely archived where appropriate.


8. Data Deletion and User Requests

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting the course administration through the official support or admin email address.
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will review the request and delete or anonymise data that we are no longer required to keep, subject to any legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, contractual, security, or record-keeping obligations.
Where complete deletion is not immediately possible, we may retain limited data only to the extent necessary for those legitimate obligations.
If you have submitted Health Data and request deletion, we will delete or anonymise it unless retention is required by law, for security or dispute-resolution purposes, or for another lawful basis.
Deletion of data may result in loss of access to parts or all of the service where that data is necessary for account administration or course delivery.


9. Final Notes
We are proud to support candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including those with limited financial means, and offer our content at significantly reduced fees. However, this generosity must be reciprocated with honesty, professionalism, and adherence to these terms. • We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy at any time, and it is the subscriber’s responsibility to remain informed.
